Covering sports and events for so long I have always used my phone but at that time only for social media uploads due to the immediacy of it all. Only in the least 18 months have I been taking photos with my iPhone 14 Pro Max for originally only in the Indian Ocean and then later again for events with water involved. The last 8 months, that has changed. I now have my phone with me on every shoot and some times only use the phone on its own.
